On this auspicious occasion of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, we extend heartfelt congratulations to the entire congregation- Sadh Sangat Ji. This day marks the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, whose teachings continue to inspire millions around the world.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life was a beacon of wisdom, compassion, and humility. His contributions to humanity are immeasurable and his teachings remain ever relevant. He emphasized the importance of equality, rejecting the caste system and advocating for the rights of women and the downtrodden.

His message of “Ik Onkar” (There is One God), Love for Humanity and the principles of selfless service (Seva) and communal harmony (Langar) have laid the foundation for a just and inclusive society.

Some of major contributions of Sri Guru Nanak Dev are:
Naam Japo (Meditation), Kirat Karo (Honest Living), Vand Chhako (Share with the Needy), Unity of God, Congregational Worship (ਸੰਗਤ), Unity & Harmony of mankind. Professed proper status & dignity to females in the society, Raised his voice against cruelty & injustice against the regime of his time.

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji professed and practiced purity and simplicity in daily life and living, above all:

SARBAT DA BHALA – ਸਰਬਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ

Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s spiritual journeys, known as Udasis, took him across vast regions where he spread the message of love, peace, and universal brotherhood. His hymns and verses, compiled in the Guru Granth Sahib, continue to guide us towards a path of righteousness and devotion.
